On April 1, the State Board of Elections asked the Ehrlich campaign a series of questions related to the potentially illegal assistance it was given by Ehrlich’s lobbying/law firm, Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice.  The state board gave Ehrlich 30 days to respond to the inquiry, and an Ehrlich spokesman promised, “We will respond to it in the 30 days it provides.”

Thirty days have now passed. We trust that Ehrlich has provided the answers he promised – and that he is legally and ethically required to provide.
