With the August campaign finance report deadline looming, Bob Ehrlich appears to be holding an illegal joint fundraiser tonight. The event is in Bethany Beach, Delaware but the exact location of the secret fundraiser remains a mystery on a promotional flyer hosted on a Delaware candidate’s campaign website. The flyer does provide one lead if you plan on attending:
*Please reply (and receive location) by contacting

or email BoniniEvents@gmail.com.
It’s also unclear which campaign is paying the expenses or how. The flyer solicits checks to be written “equally” to each candidate but then gives different contribution limits $1200 for Delaware and $4000 for Maryland.
Last but not least, a proper authority line is also missing on the flyer as required by Maryland campaign finance laws.
Here’s the whole flyer:
The rainy weather was no match for Maryland Democrats on Monday night as we had a great turnout at the DNC to kick-off our Club 2010 campaign. Despite the great turnout, I know that many folks wanted to attend but couldn’t make it, so I took a few photos and recorded a short video. I also tested our live video stream on USTREAM so that we can bring future events to you online.
We want to give a very special thanks to Delegate and Maryland Democratic Party Vice Chair, Talmadge Branch, as well as our many hosts and sponsors for making this event possible. There are too many to list, but they’re included in the following slideshow.
Here’s a short clip of our chair (and former DNC Vice Chair), Susan Turnbull discussing Club 2010 and our plans to get a head start on the new year and the next elections.
We have another exciting event coming up next week that you won’t want to miss. We’ll be in Silver Spring to “Celebrate Strong Women in Maryland” with Senator Barbara Mikulski and Congresswoman Donna Edwards. I’ll be providing details in another post. Stay tuned…
If you’re in the D.C. area tonight, head on over to the Democratic National Committee Headquarters on Capitol Hill for a “Young Professionals” reception as part of the Maryland Democratic Party’s 2010 Campaign. Miley Cyrus won’t be there but this group of great young Democrats will.
