Team Erhlich: Taking Maryland Backwards
After months of speculation about what he’s been up to for the last three years, Bob Ehrlich has decided to change his name to Bob Erhlich. In an e-mail obtained by The OnLine State, Team Erhlich asked supporters if they were ready to take Maryland backwards.
The name change appears to be an attempt by Ehrlich Erhlich to go back and reinvent himself after 4 years of record spending followed by 3 years as a self described “rainmaker” for his lobbying firm, Womble Carlyle.
However, a new campaign website still had the old spelling of his name and had not been updated to reflect his reinvented record.
Ehrlich Erhlich recently attempted to dupe attendees at a TEA Party rally by masquerading as a fiscal conservative.
The change comes on the heels of a new poll that finds serious problems for Ehrlich with the Republican base.
Despite running a campaign while on the clock at Womble Carlyle, Team Ehrlich Erhlich could not be reached for comment.
